I was born and raised in Idaho, where I met my wife and attended college.
Dental School took me to the University of Tennessee, where I graduated with my doctorate of surgery in 2016. After four years of working in a denture clinic (and removing more than 50,000 teeth) I started Urgent Tooth in 2020, which is a mostly referral-based practice.
In late 2023, like a proud parent, I decided Urgent Tooth didn’t need me anymore and I could step out into another, fresh direction. I now offer my surgical skillset and mentoring services to practices and doctors throughout the greater Greensboro area, where I enjoy rubbing shoulders with what I’ve come to realize is a very talented dental community.
Regular dental school stuff for four years.
I was the sole-provider at a busy denture clinic, where I extracted more than 50,000 teeth and delivered more than 4,000 dentures. It was here where I saw an obvious need to add implants into my surgical skillset. The lower 2-4 implant overdenture became a central piece to my treatment planning.
Who doesn’t love a good startup? I get proud-parent vibes when I look back at what this clinic has become. It was here that (by popular demand) I added IV sedation and became proficient in third molar surgery.
